Valuation forms the cornerstone of nearly every business transaction nowadays. Whether it involves mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, venture capital, or real estate, a solid understanding of valuation will ensure an equitable transaction. Attorneys play an active role in these transactions but all too often become entrenched in the purely legal aspects of them. This course will help attorneys to better understand the methodology and techniques behind various forms of valuation and in turn, better serve the needs of their clients.
