Valuation forms the cornerstone of nearly every business transaction nowadays. Whether it involves mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, venture capital, or real estate, a solid understanding of valuation will ensure an equitable transaction. Attorneys play an active role in these transactions but all too often become entrenched in the purely legal aspects of them.
